#the100dayproject
My 100 Day Project is a review of the ten books I see as a core foundation of a creative spirit. They are my sacred texts. I want a resource for people to learn and engage in the Creative Process, that’s why I’m building this website. It is my hope that this space will become a collaborative site where others will share the writings and techniques that they hold sacred as well. I’m sure there are plenty more books to reference ... but this will be a beginning of what I’m calling the Creativity Bible.
Just like any family does with passing along the family bible to their descendants, I’m looking to pass along stories and values about being creative to my six year old granddaughter. I want her to have a place devoted to sharing creative resources, literature to spark the creative juice, youtube links for the how to’s, TEDs for inspiration, and a multitude of podcasts communities to discuss all that is creative. In this way she will have a place to seek the guidance and creative maturity of others, especially when I’m no longer on this earth. The 100 Day Project officially begins on April 2nd, so check back then for a more in depth discussion of these essential works. What are your sacred texts? If you’d like to contribute to the Creativity Bible, message me here. |
